The CCNA is Cisco's associate networking certification, one 120-minute exam, code 200-301. It is also one of the best-served exams on YouTube: several teachers have posted a whole course for free. They differ a great deal in size, because some cover every exam topic with labs and some teach only the hard parts. That difference is the first thing to check, and a playlist called "complete" doesn't settle it.

How to choose
- For the whole exam, start with Jeremy's IT Lab or Flackbox. Jeremy's is longer, with long lessons and labs; Flackbox covers the exam in many short videos. Keith Barker's list is bigger than either, so treat it as a place to look things up.
- Only some of these cover everything. NetworkChuck, Technical Guftgu, Network Direction, CertBros and Practical Networking teach parts of the exam. They are good for a first look or a second explanation, and their shorter totals are not a shorter way to pass.
- Don't skip the labs. The exam expects you to work with real configurations, not only name the parts, and most of the longer courses here use Cisco's Packet Tracer simulator.
- Check the version, not only the code. Cisco has kept the code 200-301 through revisions of the exam, so two courses with the same code can differ. Compare what a course covers with the exam topics on Cisco's site before you book.
Finishing one
Open a course here, tick videos as you watch them, and the remaining time updates.
